Welcome to Plaza Design
Plaza Design was created in 1982 to support local and regional artists, and provide interesting jobs. Fine Artists stocked the 350 square foot store with consignment pieces. Today we have four stores: on the historic Arcata Plaza, in McKinleyville by the world’s largest totem pole, in downtown Eureka in the historic Gross building (1903), and online.
Our support for artisans runs deep. Our stores are thoughtfully designed with fine furnishings, art, and gifts for the whole family. We host evening art events every month at each of our stores profiling local artists, featuring live local music, and serving wine by the glass. Please join us on the first Saturday of every month in Eureka, the second Friday of every month in Arcata, and the third Friday of every month in McKinleyville.

Plaza Design stores are open seven days a week. The Arcata, Eureka and McKinleyville store hours are open Monday-Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm, and Sundays from Noon to 5 pm.
